Since 1956 this 173-bed facility, located in Buffalo, New York, has demonstrated total commitment to the highest standards in caring for people of all faiths and walks of life. This commitment has earned us a reputation for offering compassionate care in a Christian atmosphere.

We provide long-term and short-term (or sub-acute) skilled nursing care, specialized Alzheimer's and dementia care, respite care, and rehabilitation services.

Our residents receive the highest quality medical, nursing and personal services supervised by a primary physician. Licensed gerontologists, consultants in dentistry, podiatry, ophthalmology, psychiatry and surgery provide services regularly. Social, nutritional and pastoral care, all essential to the individual's well being, are also provided. Registered nurses are on duty 24-hours a day.

At Niagara Lutheran Home and Rehabilitation Center every resident benefits from an individualized plan of care developed and carried out by an interdisciplinary team that meets regularly to discuss progress and update the plan of care as necessary. The team is comprised of the resident and his or her family members as well as our medical director; physical, occupational and speech therapists; and nursing, activities, nutrition and social services staff. If it is determined that a resident is able to go home or to a different level of care, our social services staff will help with discharge planning and arranging for community services and special equipment that might be necessary.
